My hair tends to change year over year to a different cut or color, but I don't do much with it outside scissors and dye. Styling this thick fluff ball is a major pain. I have some small hair accessories when I want to attempt to tame the beast, but their main purpose is to take up space on the rare occasion I become fancy. My bobby pins (or hair pins or whatever they are) used to be in a different container, but after finding this skull-shaped one, I knew just what to do with it:
Aluminum or plastic mint tins work great for storing tiny hair accessories like bobby pins, hair pins, barrettes, and more.
My sugar skull obsession strikes again! I can't remember where I found this tin of mints, or what the mints inside tasted like. All I know is it's cute and needed to be needed STAT. It holds all my bobby pins mighty nicely, and it helps that it's small enough where I won't be tempted to buy more little hair things to fill empty space in a larger container.
How do you store your hair accessories? Have you recycled a mint tin in a crafty way? Let me know in the comments!
