Tip #21: Beauty Products on Thrifted Trays

Lovely Tip #21: Beauty Products on Thrifted Trays via www.whatmandyloves.com
The counter space in my cave of a bathroom is a bit awkward, long and short simultaneously.  I hang frequently used bathroom products on the wall so the counter isn't too cluttered, but I'm constantly undecided on the display of the makeup (I know my flaws, so I must leave it out or I won't use).  It seems too sparse, and y'all know I don't like emptiness.  I love me some floral prints and patterns, so when I saw this metal tray at a thrift store I grabbed it without a care of what I would do with it until I went home.  And reorganized my counter again.

Use decorative or functional kitchen trays to display and organize your bathroom and beauty products.

Now I have a better bathroom counter solution for my makeup that's both functional and looks nice.  The awkward corner holds my nail polish in a thrifted ceramic vase (or a formerly used urn, too afraid to find out), so the tray angled in front of it adds the illusion of horizontal space next to my far-left aligned bathroom sink.  Cross your fingers I don't reorg again so quickly because this is my favorite setup thus far in this silly bathroom.

Bathroom lighting is the worst.

How do you display and store your beauty and makeup products?  Do you use trays for other nifty purposes?  Let me know in the comments!
