My grandmother was at a craft show where Laurel was signing and selling her art. She had this "The Art Of Human Being" print addressed to me and my sister, even though we were only four and five years old respectively, because what else would you gift your granddaughters at that age.
This print has been flung back and forth between my room and my sister's room over the years, and when I moved to the Bay Area I took it with me.
Laurel died in 2007, but her art will live on for her, including the piece I cherish. If you want to see more of her artwork, check out her website at laurelburch.com.

There's gross lighting in my hallway, but I needed to zoom into the grain so you can see the autograph part! "To: Mandy and Char - Love, Laurel Burch, '95" |
Do you have any Laurel Burch art or merchandise? What do you think about her style? Let me know in the comments.
