I've never known a candle I couldn't use every drop of wax from using a candle warmer. My previous one was electric and took a god-awful amount of time to warm up, so I've been on the lookout for a new tea-light-powered warmer to burn my stache of wax cubes (stored in ice trays - genius). I've found a few tiny ones that were fine, but they were always shallow, couldn't take much wax at a time.
Look what I found! This thrift purchase takes the cake. It's technically a fondue warmer thing for dipping things in cheeses and chocolates, but who cares! It works just the same and the deeper mouth accommodates more wax. Dare I mix and match scents now that I have the room? Yes, I dare!

This beauty ups my candle-ing game to the MAX, and I can wash it out and use it for legit fondue when I'm feeling fancy. |
Bonus Tip: When you're done with the wax, there's an easy way to get it out. Putting the tray part that holds the wax in the freezer for a few hours loosens the grip between the wax and the surface. It slides right out! (Bring the tray back to room temperature before warming it up again or the ceramic will crack.)
Do you use a candle warmer? What scents are you into lately? Let me know in the comments!
